"Dear David,
I am writing this letter to thank you and your staff for the loving care given to my mother while a resident for over a year.  I did not know what to expect when she admitted, but soon became aware of the committed care not only to her but the other residents as well.
The homey environment that you provided was indeed a plus.  There was never a day that I visited that an obvious respect was not shown to each person.  The food served was always balanced and tasty.  Being a chef certainly is an advantage but, the employees were trained to prepare meals as well.
Thank you for your loving care and that of the staff.  Please thank Barbara for the globe she so thoughtfully gave my mother the day of discharge.  I will miss our talks, and Frankie's sense of humor.  We had many laughs and meaningful conversations.  Many blessings to you all."
Sincerely,

Rebecca Mayer, RN, Ph.D.

Dear David and staff,
As we start this 2010 year, I just wanted to thank you and your wonderfull staff for the loving, kind, and respectful care you provide for my mom.  I took care of Mom for four years at home and as you know, it was an exceedingly difficult decision for me to place her in someone else's care.
After a long search, I was so relieved and delighted to find your cozy, home-like Inn.  Knowing that she is so well cared for has been a great blessing in my life and hers as well.
It was such a pleasure to spend Christmas and celebrate her 91st birthday on Jan. 1 with the other residents and your gracious staff.
She is thriving under your excellent care and love.

With fondest regards,

Rebecca Brown, RN
P.S.  Congratulations!!!  -----on achieving a perfect grade on your inspections.  As an RN for the last twenty years, I truly know that is quite an achievement.  You and your staff work very hard to provide true quality of care and it was much deserved.

"David, we just want to put a few words that are in our hearts down on paper to thank you and your fine staff for the wonderful way our mother was cared for while under your care.  My wife was able to have peace of mind knowing Barbara was taking care of her mother, and never once did we have a problem with Lottie being clean and well groomed, and of course the extra mile you went in fixing her special foods, when eating was hard for her.  David, having been in business, I know that the actions of a staff always take on the morals and work ethics of the owner.  This was very evident in your fine Inn.  David, your idea of assisted living home with a bed and breakfast touch is perfect.
Once again, thank you and God bless you and your fine staff.  ---Cannot close without a word of praise for Frankie, he always made us feel at home and at ease."
Sincerely,

Dear David,

I cannot thank you and your staff enough for all of the loving, thoughtful, and ultimately professional care you gave to both of my parents at the inn.  I always felt at ease and happy with the high quality of care and life that Mom and Dad had at Fletcher View Inn.
Mom was a diabetic and amazingly, you were able  to get Mom off insulin by giving her the proper diet management, food preparation, and meal planning.   I  really feel that Mom and Dad both would not have lived as long if we had not found a place such as yours for them to stay.  They truly seemed to love the at home atmosphere as did all their visitors.
I and my family will always fondly and gratefully remember all that you, Barbara, and Frankie did for Mom and Dad!

Sincerely,

K. Elaine Moore

  Dear David,

It is such a blessing that you had the vision to open Fletcher View Inn (FVI) and very telling that FVI has garnered perfect DHRS/ Medicare highest ratings year after year

FVI has been mother's home for quite some time now. She is thriving under your care incuding improvement in cognitive testing and a heathy weight gain attributed to delicious meals and snacks

Your vision of compassionate, respectful and loving care for the aged is a rare find in today's typical institutional settings. We visited 19 senior care facilities, shiny on the outside but dismal inside. The moment we found FVI and spent time with you we knew it would be her new home- a true residential home in a peaceful neighbrhood.

You live the "life example" everyday of providing loving, kind and respectful care for mother and all of the residents. We have never once visited and found anything awry, in fact the house is always clean as a pin and the residents well cared for.

The staff is fully engaged in not just taking care of residents needs but building relationships- something that does not often occur in typical institutional settings. Your staff  actually has time to give 1-on1 care and it is clear that the residents adore them as they do you.

The senior care model that you have established should be how we provide care to all our seniors yet it is so rare in our society. You are highy respected by Area Agency on Aging councils and so many in the community.

You have been incredibly compassionate and kind to me and our entire family. There aren't words that can express our graditude for all you do in caring for mother.

You are an amazing and gifted person that enhances lives everyday- what a blessing. Thank you for having the vision, passion, and love to do what you do and touch all of the lives around you every single
day.

I"m fortunate to know you and we are deeply blessed that mother has a true home with you and your team.

Our Sincerest Graditude,

Joy Strassel
